In February 2024 I went on a week-long stop motion course in Bristol with BFI. I feel this week was very important in me making the decision to pursue model-making. Throughout the week we had talks from multiple people in the stop motion industry. Some of which include Jay Clarke (Wes Anderson storyboarder), Osbert Parker and Lily Goodwin. We also got a tour of Aardman on the last day. By the end of the course, we produced a minute-long animation in our groups, we worked together on every aspect of the short film. This week was very inspirational to me as I was surrounded by like-minded people who all shared the same interests as me. We also learnt how to make the basic skeleton for a puppet and I helped my group design some of the props that were used.
